About us
The APMT consists of people who have made Tamarindo their home and as volunteers for APMT, they work hard to help our town grow in a worthy manner. The board of directors of APMT and its committees are applying and executing progressive business strategies to create the foundations for a new Tamarindo. The objectives of APMT are focused on improving Tamarindo as a tourist destination and as a place of residence.

Objectives
 

VISION: A Tamarindo positioned and consolidated in the national and international tourism market because of its natural resources, rich landscape, socio-cultural values, quality of life and harmony with the environment.
 
MISSION: To participate actively in the development process of Tamarindo and its zone of influence while applying a model of sustainability which promotes economic and socio-cultural improvement and enhances the quality of life of its inhabitants, through the appropriate, just and fair use and management of its natural resources, with tourism as its basic economic activity
 

PRINCIPLE: Preserve and improve Tamarindo's location inside the national park through sustainable development and enforcement of law.
